3D Modelling - Treehouse
In my first year at CMGT, I created a detailed 3D model of a treehouse for the 3D Modelling course. This project posed some challenges, particularly during the UV mapping process for complex shapes, ensuring textures aligned perfectly. I enhanced the model's visual appeal using Adobe Substance 3D Painter for texturing.
Working with Autodesk Maya and Adobe Substance 3D Painter provided invaluable experience in advanced modeling and texturing. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and look forward to further experimenting with these tools in future projects.
Game Design - Platformer
For one of the modules, we were tasked with creating a 2D platformer game. I got to experiment with different pseudocode and behaviour programming tools in making this game, which proved to be quite fun.
Survive the chaos, shape your destiny, and reach the Garden of Eden before time begins flowing.
The game, called "Dawn of Creation", is an adventure-platformer set in the early stages of the Universe's formation. Players navigate a shifting, fragmented world to secure a place in the next cycle of life by reaching the Garden of Eden first. Through thematic levels reflecting different phases of creation, players embark on a journey marked by survival instincts. Along the way, players engage in secondary missions, leaving their mark on the world and gathering soul shards to enhance their journey.
UI/UX - Website
During my UI/UX class at university, I undertook a project to redesign an existing website, providing it with a modern and user-friendly facelift. This involved extensive use of Figma to create new layouts and implement various UI/UX principles and techniques. I focused on improving the overall user experience by enhancing the visual appeal, navigation, and functionality of the site.
Through this project, I gained valuable insights into design thinking, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing, which are crucial skills for any UI/UX designer.
